ARES, an 80-watt laser engraving and cutting machine manufactured by the Novin Laser Saba Company, is an advanced machine that is able to engrave and cut all kinds of metals very accurately. This machine has been developed to engrave gold, silver, aluminum, brass, steel, and copper pieces. The ARES engraving machine is a diode-pumped solid-state “Nd: YAG” laser which works in a pulsed mode using an acousto-optic Q-switch. One of the advantages of this machine is that it creates a minimum thermal effect, leading to high-quality and high-contrast marks on any surface with a minimum loss of metal.

 

The ARES engraving machine is widely used in various industries to engrave logos, words, serial numbers, designs and images, and QR codes on metal surfaces and pieces.

 

Laser marking is applied directly onto the surface using an intense pulsed laser beam. The interaction between the focused beam and the surface leads to changes in the material (for example, discoloration, engraving, or removal). The focused beam targets only a specified area, allowing the laser marking machine to create precise, high-quality, and high-contrast marks that are easy to read or scan on virtually any surface. The two or three dimensional scanner is one of the main parts of a laser marking machine. In three dimensional scanner the focused point of the laser beam moves dynamically, creating 3D images on a surface sample. The laser system can be easily controlled through software installed on a computer. The high-quality components used in the ARES laser marking machine has led to a high-quality beam and an accurate marking.

 

ARES is enable to mark cylindrical and round objects by using the rotary marking attachment. With this accessory the 360° laser marking is possible on both the circumference and on the inside of components. Usually, rotary device not includes in the standard configuration, but according to
the customer’s needs, it can be attached to the ARES. A comprehensive software completely controls the laser parameters, the laser scanner, and the rotary accessory.
